Author Guidelines

General Requirements

Authors submitting manuscripts to Jurnal Ekselenta – Jurnal Ilmiah Fakultas Teknik are required to ensure that their manuscripts are original, scientifically sound, and relevant to the journal's aims and scope.

Before submission, authors should carefully review the journal template and ensure that the manuscript complies with the required formatting and submission standards.

Manuscript Requirements

Authors should ensure that:

  1. The manuscript presents original research, a review, or a relevant technical case study.
  2. The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
  3. The manuscript follows the official Jurnal Ekselenta template.
  4. The manuscript is written in clear and appropriate academic English.
  5. All tables and figures are properly numbered, titled, and cited in the manuscript.
  6. References are complete, accurate, and consistently formatted.
  7. All sources cited in the manuscript are included in the reference list.
  8. Appropriate permissions have been obtained for copyrighted material where applicable.
  9. Ethical requirements have been fulfilled for research involving human participants or other regulated research activities.

Submission Process

Authors submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. During submission, authors are required to provide complete manuscript metadata, including the title, abstract, keywords, author information, affiliations, and references.

Authors should carefully check all submitted information before completing the submission process.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official Jurnal Ekselenta manuscript template available on the journal website.

Editorial and Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts are subject to an initial editorial assessment. Manuscripts that meet the journal's basic requirements and scope may proceed to the peer-review process.

The editorial team reserves the right to return manuscripts that do not meet the journal's minimum requirements.
